ATHLETIC CHALK

Any adhesive and/or sticky substance (stickum, grip spray, anti-slip enhancer, etc.) used for hand grip is banned at any USA Throwball Association organized event.  If a player is found using or in possession of any such substance, that individual will be ejected from the facility for the duration of the tournament.

 

Moving forward, chalk will not be provided by USTA. Teams/individuals are allowed to use their own chalk for the tournaments, however; please note that any adhesive substance that is sticky is still banned.

 

PRIORITY REGISTRATION

Teams that qualify for the finals from Winter Classic and Summer Classic Tournaments Only will be given priority for the following tournament’s registration. For example, Team A and Team B are in the finals, both teams will be given the opportunity to register prior to general registration for the following tournament.

 

 

PARTICIPATION AGE CRITERIA

All participants for Junior division are required to be between the age of 12-17 and not a day older at the time of the tournament.  Adult division participants are required to be minimum of 12 years of age at the time of the tournament.

 

FORFEIT

A team will forfeit their game if: 

1) They are are no show to the tournament

2) They are not ready to play at the designated time

3) The team does not have minimum number of players (7) to start the game

4) Forfeit is handed down by USTA Project Manager along with refree and Court Manager

FORFEITS WILL BE SCORED AS SUCH SET 1 25-0, SET 2 25-0
